Rabies is Germ's sewer friend.
Background
Rabies was found by Germ when a body was taken out the sewers after the big flood. Germ explains that he was sad, wet, and hungry so he bought him chips and ice cream. Germ didn't want him to get picked on by the other possums so he named them something they're all afraid of, rabies.
